Opal Nera was conceived and produced by the Francoli family from Ghemme, nothern Italy in the 1980's. Respected and renowned as makers of some of the finest Grappas in Italy, the company was founded by Luigi Francoli and remains to this day, an entirely family-owned and managed enterprise.
